300 Face Two Million, Living and Dead, in Indie Comics HORROR #1

Xerxes called his guard "The Immortals" for a reason. An army that needs no food or water can march endlessly. So begins Rob Anderson's zombie tale Immortal Resistance in Indie Comics HORROR #1, in September's Previews, Diamond's comic book preorder catalog, under Aazurn Publishing.

Anderson knows zombies. His "Rex, Zombie Killer" from Big Dog Ink, released earlier this year, is still receiving reviewer praise, from Fangoria to Newsarama to Ain't It Cool News. Kurt Anthony Krug of Comic Buyer's Guide wrote "Rex" is "solid and fast-paced, with good character development and funny moments thrown in."

When not writing comics, Anderson is General Manager of Andy Schmidt's Comics Experience and moderator/administrator of the Comic Creators Workshop online community. He was also a member of The Brutal Circle writer’s group. Rob founded Panda Dog Press in 2009. Mutant pets menace Animal Control in Anderson's upcoming Animal Control: Special Creatures Unit miniseries.

Immortal Resistance is illustrated by Dafu Yu. Explore Anderson's projects at PandaDogPress.com.

Six complete stories of dread shamble through Indie Comics HORROR #1, the best fear from independent comic book creators. "Rob's Immortal Resistance wraps up in eight pages what it would take other comics a full issue to do," said Aazurn Publishing Publisher/Editor Gary Scott Beatty. "We like complete stories, well told!"

Information about creators and a video preview of Indie Comics HORROR #1, with music by the appropriately indie Chantron, is online at IndieComicsMagazine.com.

With no huge overprint, no digital version and no back issue sales, Indie Comics HORROR is available ONLY at your local and online comic book shops. It is best to preorder from September's Previews, said Beatty. Some Indie Comics Magazine issues, like last year's Christmas issue, are now hard to find.
