Witch Hunters Face the Unknown in Indie Comics HORROR #1

Be careful who you accuse of witchcraft! Australian Paul Bradford presents a moody story and three Hierophantom's Poeticorner tales in Indie Comics HORROR #1, in September's Previews, Diamond's comic book preorder catalog, under Aazurn Publishing.

"Allen Byrns' smoky, shadowy art is a real treat in Witch Hunters," said Aazurn Publishing Publisher/Editor Gary Scott Beatty. "Paul's work has appeared in our Indie Comics Magazine publications before to high acclaim and we're lucky to have him contribute horror to Indie Comics HORROR #1."

Bradford also gets gothic with Hierophantom's Poeticorner pages. Illustrated, gothic poetry has been a staple of horror since the late 1700s and Bradford lives up to the tradition with three pages of creepy verse.

Originally from Scotland, Bradford was brought up on the British comics that helped twist him into the writer he is today. Now living in Western Australia, he writes comics containing a broad spectrum of themes and ideas. He has produced small press “zines” through his company Inertia Publications at http://inertiapublications.blogspot.com/.

Six complete stories of dread shamble through Indie Comics HORROR #1, the best fear from independent comic book creators. Said Beatty, "We like complete stories, well told!"

Information about creators and a video preview of Indie Comics HORROR #1, with music by the appropriately indie Chantron, is online at IndieComicsMagazine.com.

With no huge overprint, no digital version and no back issue sales, Indie Comics HORROR is available ONLY at your local and online comic book shops. It is best to preorder from September's Previews, said Beatty. Some Indie Comics Magazine issues, like last year's Christmas issue, are now hard to find.
